SuMmErTiMe Stars have arrived!

We set up our first HaPpY Shabby table yesterday at
"First Thursday" & celebrated Cinco de Mayo with The Shoppes at Woodlawn!

The weather couldn't have been more perfect!
The sale was complete with live music, plenty of vendors, and a taco truck...
Shoppers brought their children & dogs & we all enjoyed a perfect spring evening.

Our stars are $35 each or 2 for $60
Here's an iphone picture of our mini-storefront!
I wish I had taken more pictures because we met some great new friends at the table to our left... I'll have to get a link to the jewelry they make.  One word:  Adorable.

Did I mention the weather was perfect!?!
We were happy to visit with some of our friends & neighbors who came out to support us!
Thanks for stopping by to visit!

Here's few of our stars "in the making."
We added curly-Q hangers & ribbon...

This star makes me happy!
...I have it hanging on my front door.
Smiles.

I can hardly wait until Memorial Day to show off
the Patriotic Stars!
Don't be surprised if I hang them from my tree limbs.

This one with aqua polka dots would also be great
for my beach house...
Oh wait, I don't have a beach house. Maybe someday.

My garage has never looked so fabulous!?
These happies are waiting patiently for their
blue gingham ribbon... then they'll be ready for your door!

Imagine the possibilities with white dots?!
You can easily switch the ribbon with the seasons...
Birthday parties, Razorback red, patriotic for the 4th of July, you name it!

Thanks for stopping by...
please email us if you would like to order a star!

Nashville tour

Our family!

We decided to visit the Grand Old Opry House before heading back to Arkansas...
I'm glad we did bc it was really cool!
The girls posed by a giant-sized guitar!

The famous stage!

No Grand Ole Opry House tour is complete without
Minnie Peal & her worn out jazz shoes.

The iron railing marks the flood line in the green room.
I can't imagine, what a mess!

HaPpY Friday!

"It's a cRaZy town, full of neon dreams!"
We visited Nashville, TN last weekend...
Our first stop was ICE CREAM!
Mckinley tried Pralines 'n creme while Madison stuck to her favorite Chocolate chip cookie dough in a waffle cone.  Heavenly!

While Matt attended meetings for work, we scooped out the city...
Downtown Nashville, Vanderbilt University which I think is called Hillsboro Village... we even drove down to this dreamy little townsquare in Franklin.

Madison carried my camera all day, which kept her busy
 & documented our shopping tour!

How cute is that table & chairs?

We were on the hunt for a porcelain Easter chick to complete Allie's collection...
All we found were fuzzy ones, though.

Old staircase leading to the clearance section!

Cool car we came across in downtown Franklin!

Madison is in the market for a Vera Bradley mini Hipster purse.
I think she has decided on the Verry Berry Paisley print.  Super cute!

An Easter chandelier!

more cute stuff!

Mckinley looks like a "mini- Minnie Pearl!"

We found something for everyone in this shop!
I bought some soy candles that easily compete for my favorite, next to Trapp!
Pineapple Cilantro & Orange Vanilla... Bliss!

Spring is just around the corner!

We've been working on crosses all week!
This shabby cross is one of my favorites...
aqua ribbon with orange bloom.
So Springy!

She went to her new home in Texas this weekend!

Here's a close-up of one we made for a true girly-girl!
Pink ribbon & bloom!

Which color combo is your favorite?

Check out this beauty!
Allie refinished a new kitchen table over the weekend!
I don't have a "before" picture but this table was nothin' to write home about... just your basic wooden table with a light oak stain.
She gave it a new Shabby look with a new coat of paint & some TLC!

Easter Crosses have arrived & they're SpRiNgInG up everywhere!

Shabby Easter Crosses
$35 each or 2 for $60

Shabby crosses are lightweight & easy to hang
on your door or fireplace mantle.
I have used a suction cup with a hook & a command sticky hook,
both of which work great to hang the crosses!

The daisy blooms come in a variety of colors!
